Nicola works from her home-based studio in the village of Bassingham, situated between Newark & Lincoln.  Her hats and headpieces are beautifully crafted using traditional techniques to create individual headwear of exceptional finish and quality.   She offers a personal service designing and creating headwear from a choice of luxurious fabrics, colours and styles, perfect for each individual and occasion.  

Seasonal Collections
Nicola also stocks a wide range of ready to wear hats for immediate sale and hire. The collection is varied and contemporary with an excellent range of colour options, carefully sourced from British suppliers.  In addition, alternative colour options to those stocked may be obtainable by special order.

At Your Appointment
Visits to the studio showroom are by appointment only to ensure you receive individual attention. You should allow at least an hour and bring with you all items of the outfit that you may have already chosen to wear (or considering wearing), including shoes if you have them.  It is helpful to be prepared to actually put these clothes on during the visit because this helps us narrow down the choices to find your 'perfect' piece.  An outfit can be transformed by accompanying it with the perfect hat and Nicola aims to make your visit as pleasurable as possible.  You should leave the studio feeling wonderful with your choices and be excited for the big day to arrive.  It's not often we get the chance to dress up and least of all, to wear a hat.

​Hat Hire
As the opportunity to wear a hat for most of us is limited, Nicola offers a Hat Hire service.  Please be prepared to reserve the hat of your choice on the day to ensure availability on your special day.  For this you will need to pay the hire charge at the time of booking and card facilities are available within the studio.

All of the headpieces in the studio are of high quality but there is a range of prices which will hopefully suit all budgets, whether you are choosing to buy or hire.  All hats are supplied with a protective hat box when they leave the studio and these boxes must be returned with the hat when you have chosen the hire option.  For more imformation regarding Hat Hire, please visit the Hire Terms & Conditions.
